Who this applies to

This policy applies to the Contractor Support Co. website, mobile apps, and related support and messaging services operated by Not A Toaster Inc. under the Contractor Support Co. brand.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use CSC, we may collect and store:

  • Account details such as your name, email address, phone number, role, and tenant or client relationship.
  • Client, job, address, agreement, invoice, and billing workflow data needed to deliver CSC services.
  • Messages, support requests, attachments, and related activity records created inside the app.
  • Notification and device-registration data needed to send push notifications to signed-in devices.
  • Authentication and security records, including sign-in state, password-reset flows, and audit history.
  • Routine technical data such as IP address, browser or app version, and error or delivery logs needed to operate the service.

How we use information

  • Provide contractor, client, CSC support, scheduling, messaging, approval, and invoice workflows.
  • Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent misuse of the platform.
  • Send transactional email, push notifications, and support follow-up.
  • Maintain records required for operations, billing, compliance, dispute resolution, and service continuity.
  • Improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, and review support or security incidents.

How information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us run CSC, such as hosting, database, messaging, email, push-notification, storage, analytics, or payment partners, only as needed to operate the service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction involving Not A Toaster Inc.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records of work and communications, enforce agreements, satisfy legal or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Some information may remain in backups or operational records for a limited period after deletion requests are processed.

Your choices

  • Contractors and clients can review and update parts of their account information inside the app.
  • Contractors and clients can request account deletion from the CSC iPhone or Android app under More → Settings → Account deletion.
  • If you cannot sign in, you can use the instructions on the account deletion page or contact support by email.

Terms and agreements

Contractor and client platform terms, service agreements, and related acceptance flows are presented within CSC when they apply to your account or work with the service.
